How do you pay drivers?

Do you offer benefits? If so, when would I qualify?

Yes! We offer many benefits including Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance, 401k Participation, and Paid vacation. Medical benefits are available to you after you’ve driven for us for 60 days. All other benefits are available after 90 days. We also offer a cash referral program compensating you for any driver that you recommend and we hire. Do you have a regional or local position in my area?

Although we have some transportation services that extend to other regions, the majority of our dedicated hauls are located in Salt Lake City and Price, Utah. If you are outside of these areas and are still interested in driving for us, you can chat with us or give us a call at 801-327-8697.

What type of equipment do you run?

We run Peterbilt, Mack, Western Star and International tractors but the majority of the tractors are Kenworth W900 and T800's. The majority of trailers that we run are aluminum belly dump trains for our coal hauls and 5-axle side dumps for dirt and aggregates. We have a few other specialized equipment for some of our less frequent transportation solutions.

How are drivers paid?

Drivers are paid every two weeks and depending on the location are either paid by the hour or by the load. If you’re interested in driving for us, you can chat with us or give us a call at 801-327-8697 and we can give you more specific information about pay depending on where you are located.

Are your trucks governed?

Our governing speeds vary between 65-85 mph depending on the truck.

Can I bring a passenger with me?

We take safety very seriously and encourage safe driving habits. Therefore, we generally do not allow passengers to ride with you while driving although special permissions can be given in rare cases.

Are there any physical requirements for driving truck?

Are there any physical requirements for driving truck?

In order to drive for CTC you must pass a physical exam. As far as your day to day operations, generally the most physical requirements would be entering and exiting the truck although there may be rare cases where more physical activity is required.

What kind of loads do you haul?

The majority of our hauls in Price, Utah are coal with belly dumps and in Salt Lake City, Utah, we primarily haul dirt, aggregate, and construction materials using side dumps.

How do I get my CDL?

For those eligible, we offer paid CDL training and guaranty driving training and a job after you receive your permit. Getting your learners permit typically takes 2-3 weeks followed by more training from our experienced drivers.
